Mr Fothergills Turnip Seeds - Purple Top Milan Variety
Purple Top Milan is an easy to grow turnip variety with flat white roots & purple tops. Ideal for growing between rows of slower growing vegetables, these seeds are quick to mature and can be harvested early for young turnips with a great mild flavour.
Sow outdoors between March-July & they will typically be ready to Harvest between June-November.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors where they will crop, allowing 30cm between rows
- Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days
- Thin out ot 10cm apart
- Water well until established
- Sow every 2-3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply
- Turnips are best eaten small & young; for baby turnips harvest when diameter of a golf ball
- Take alternate plants & leave others to mature
