Mr Fothergills Broccoli Seeds - Sprouting Early Purple Variety
Sprouting Early Purple Broccoli is a hardy and easy to grow broccoli variety that can be harvested in early spring. These seeds will produce delicious & tender broccoli shoots with attractive purple heads that provide a great source of vitamins C & A & antioxidants.
Sow indoors or outdoors between March-May & they will typically be ready to Harvest between February-May.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors; seedlings usually appear within 14-21 days
- Water well until established
- Transplant 60cm apart when seedlings reach 10cm tall
- Or sow thinly indoors into a tray of compost; water well & place in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse
- Transplant 5cm apart to other trays when large enough
- Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out - avoid frosts
- Harvest regularly to encourage further shoots
- Harvest shoots when 15cm long
