Mr Fothergills Onion Seeds - Bonus F1 Variety
Mr Fothergill's Bonus F1 onion seeds produce large crops of uniform onion globes with a sweet & mild flavour. This versatile onion variety stores well and is ideal for using both raw & cooked.
Sow indoors between January-April or outdoors between March-April & they will typically be ready to Harvest between August-September.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors, allowing 30cm between rows
- Seedlings usually appear within 14-28 days
- Thin to 23cm apart - thinnings can be transplanted or used in salads
- Sow indoors for larger bulbs
- Sow thinly (0.5cm deep) in small trays of compost & water well
- Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal & keep moist
- Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out
- Plant out allowing 23cm between plants
