Mr Fothergills Lettuce Seeds - Gustav's Salad Variety
Gustavs Salad is a popular Dutch heirloom lettuce with delightful texture & flavour. Sow these seeds outdoors to yield tender 'butterhead' lettuces that provide a good source of vitamins A & C.
Sow outdoors between March-July & they will typically be ready to Harvest between May-October.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors allowing 25cm between rows
- Seedlings usually appear within 7-14 days
- Thin out to 20cm apart
- Transplant thinnings if required
- Water well until established
- Sow every 2-3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply of leaves
- Surplus thinnings can be used as baby leaf salad
