Cosmos Millenium seeds grow soft, fern-like foliage in bright citrus shades, adding fantastic colour to gardens. Cosmos are a very reliable & unbeatable cut flower with semi double blooms.

Advice & Tips:

• Cosmos grow best in full sun. Feed during the summer with a liquid feed to promote healthy growth & flowers. Use good quality compost when planting in containers. May require some support.
• Plant height: 75cm Plant spacing: 30cm
• Level fill a tray with seed compost firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Scatter seeds thinly lightly covering with vermiculite. Place in a propagator at 18-25°C or cover tray with cling film & leave in a warm room.
• When shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm apart into small pots or module trays. Grow on in a minimum temperature of 10°C
• Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when the risk of frost has passed. Allow 30cm between plants. Water well until established.
• Deadhead faded blooms to keep plants blooming for longer
