Taylors Bulbs Dazzling Sun Dahlia

With bright yellow petals, this Dahlia variety is guaranteed to bring colour to your garden; the long petals have a thin red outline and red base, creating a sunburst effect once the flowers are in full bloom in the summer.

As this variety grows to a height of approximately 90cm, planting at the back of a bed or border will avoid sunlight being denied to other plants. Each individual flower head can grow to a diameter of 20cm, making the Dazzling Sun Dahlia a wonderful choice for floral displays once cut.

• Prefers to be planted in a full sun position

Advice & Tips:

• Plant in late spring once the risk of frost has passed, in a location with plenty of sun.
• Tubers should should planted in the ground approximately 15cm deep, with approximately 60cm between dahlia tubers.
• Dahlias like to be well-watered, but not waterlogged, so their soil needs good drainage.
• After the flowers have died down, lift the tubers and store in a frost-free location in dry compost until the Spring, or leave in the ground and cover with mulch in the winter months if in a mild location.
