Emilia F1 is a fast growing spinach variety that is slow to bolt & has good resistance to downy mildew races 1-10. It can be harvested as cut & come again baby leaves or mature plants for tasty & nutritious spinach leaves that provide a good source of vitamins A, C & folate.
Sow outdoors between February-August & they will typically be ready to Harvest between May-October.

Advice & Tips:
Sow thinly outdoors where they will crop, allowing 30cm between rows
Sowings made from July onwards should only be grown for baby leaves
Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days
Ensure soil stays moist to prevent plants running to seed
Harvest unthinned as baby leaves
Take a few leaves from each plant to allow them to re-grow for 2-3 more pickings
Thin seedlings to 10cm apart to produce mature plants
Sow every 3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply of leaves
Pick young leaves regularly to encourage further growth
Do not allow plants to dry out as this will make them bolt
Late spring & summer crops are ready to harvest from approx. 21-35 days
Autumn & winter crops take 60-90 days depending on temperature
