Mr Fothergills Mint Seeds - Home Grown Mint
Mr Fothergill's mint seeds produce a hardy perennial plant that can be sown either indoors or outdoors. This traditional all purpose mint variety is perfect in sauces & goes well with lamb and new potatoes.
Sow indoors between March-April or outdoors between May-June & they will typically be ready to Harvest between April-November.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow indoors for best results
- Sow thinly (0.5cm deep) in small trays of compost & water well
- Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal
- Seedlings usually appear within 14-28 days
- Repot seedlings individually into 8cm pots when large enough & move to cooler conditions
- Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out
- When sowing outdoors sow thinly in finely prepared soil, allowing 30cm between each plant
- Harvest leaves as required, cutting a few from each plant to encourage re-growth
