Mr Fothergill's mint seeds produce a hardy perennial plant that can be sown either indoors or outdoors. This traditional all purpose mint variety is perfect in sauces & goes well with lamb and new potatoes.
Sow indoors between March-April or outdoors between May-June & they will typically be ready to Harvest between April-November.

Advice & Tips:
Sow indoors for best results
Sow thinly (0.5cm deep) in small trays of compost & water well
Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal
Seedlings usually appear within 14-28 days
Repot seedlings individually into 8cm pots when large enough & move to cooler conditions
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out
When sowing outdoors sow thinly in finely prepared soil, allowing 30cm between each plant
Harvest leaves as required, cutting a few from each plant to encourage re-growth
