Best of British F1 is a very high quality courgette with an open plant habit, helping to prevent mildew. These seeds will yield spine free plants with dark & glossy fruits, for tasty courgettes that provide a good source of vitamin C.

Sow indoors between March-May or outdoors between April-May & they will typically be ready to Harvest between July-October.

Advice & Tips:

• Sow indoors in small pots for best results
• Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal & keep moist
• Seedlings usually appear within 7-14 days
• Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out - avoid frosts
• Or sow outdoors, allowing 90cm between positions
• Water well until established
• Cut courgettes when they reach 15cm or leave to mature as marrows
• Harvest regularly to encourage cropping through the season
