Mr Fothergills Garden Chive Herb Seeds
Chive is a hardy perennial garden herb that can be sown & harvested year round and grows well both indoors & outdoors. It's decorative leaves make it ideal for growing in flower borders or in pots on patios in gardens with limited space. With a mild onion flavour, this herb makes a great addition to dairy dishes & salads.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow indoors year round or outdoors March-May
- Sow indoors thinly in small pots of compost & water well
- Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal
- Seedlings usually appear within 14-21 days
- Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out
- When sowing outdoors sow thinly where they will crop
- Thin seedlings to 20cm apart
- Harvest indoor crops year round & outdoor crops from June
- Cut leaves once 15cm tall, picking a few leaves from each plant so they regrow quickly
