Mr Fothergills Carrot Seeds - Malbec F1 Variety
Malbec F1 is a maincrop Imperator type carrot with long, slender roots that are perfect for roasting. Sow these seeds outdoors to yield colourful & tasty carrots that provide a great source of vitamin A & antioxidants.
Sow outdoors between March-July & they will typically be ready to harvest between June-November.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors where they will crop, allowing 30cm between rows
- Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days
- Thin by harvesting young carrots evenly, allowing some to grow on
- Water well until established
- Sow every 3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply of young roots
- Roots can be lifted in autumn; remove soil & store in dry sand
- For early crops sow under cloches from February
