Mr Fothergills Cabbage Seeds - Summer Jewel F1 Variety
Summer Jewel F1 is a versatile, fast growing cabbage variety that can be harvested in spring or autumn. Ideal for spring greens, these seeds will yield large, loose-leaved heads of cabbage with tender, flavourful leaves that provide a great source of vitamin C & antioxidants.
Sow indoors between March-May or outdoors between March-May & July-August and they will typically be ready to Harvest between February-May & September-November.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors & water well until plants are established
- Seedlings usually appear within 14-21 days
- Transplant 45cm apart when plants reach 10cm tall, allowing 45cm between rows
- Plant firmly & water well
- Or sow thinly indoors into a tray of compost & water well
- Place in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse & keep moist
- Transplant 5cm apart to other trays when large enough
- Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out
- To avoid disease always rotate brassica crops each year
