Mr Fothergills Basil Lemon Herb Seeds
Mr Fothergill's Lemon basil seeds will produce a half hardy annual plant that can be sown either indoors or outdoors. This easy to grow variety can be sown & harvested year round and can be grown in pots, making it a great herb for your windowsill. With a distinct lemon flavour & aroma, this tasty herb makes a great addition to salads and goes well with chicken & fish dishes.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow indoors year round or outdoors March-May
- Sow indoors thinly in small pots of compost & water well
- Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal
- Seedlings usually appear within 7-14 days
- Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out
- When sowing outdoors sow thinly where they will crop
- Thin seedlings to 20cm apart
- Sow every 2-3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply of leaves
- Harvest indoor crops year round & outdoor crops from June
- For best flavour pick leaves immediately before use
