Mr Fothergills Chives Pre-Sown Seed Mats
A pack of pre-sown chive seed mats for quick & simple sowing with no mess. These 8cm mats are pre-sown with chive herb seeds, for fresh & delicately flavoured leaves that can be harvested year round & make a great addition to a wide range of dishes including salads & sauces. Sow indoors on a warm kitchen windowsill & for best flavour harvest just before use.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow indoors in 9cm pots with drainage holes
- Place the mat into a pot filled with compost, cover & water well
- Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 15-20°C is ideal & keep moist
- Plants can then be grown on a cool, light windowsill
- Pick a few leaves from each plant to encourage re-growth
- Leaves can be dried or frozen but for best flavour use fresh
